HEATHER - is on the way .....

It’s that time of year again, the moment so many of you have been waiting for. Our much-loved Heather Honey is being jarred right now, and it’ll be ready very soon!

This honey is always a little bit special. Heather is the last major nectar flow of the season, gathered high up on the moors where Matthew’s bees work the rich purple heather blooms. The result is a honey unlike any other - dark, aromatic, and full of bold flavour.

Last year the weather wasn’t kind, and the bees kept what little they made to see them through the winter. But this year, with two heather apiaries in full bloom, they’ve produced a beautiful crop - enough, we hope, to meet the growing demand.
