Special Honey with amazing properties

Heather honey is one of Britain’s rarest and most celebrated honeys. It has natural properties that are often compared to manuka. It’s a true Yorkshire powerhouse, shaped entirely by our northern moorlands.

• A very short window of opportunity as the Heather blooms for only a few precious weeks each year, so timing is critical.
• Sensitive to weather conditions, so it is not a guaranteed crop each year.
• Being a thixotropic honey it is more labour intensive to extract and jar.
• Perfect for adding to porridge, baking with or drizzling over meats or roasted vegatable for that long lasting, rich flavour.
